The British .303 calibre Bren Light Machine Gun is a variant of of the earlier Czechoslovakian ZB vz. 26 LMG, produced under licence by the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield
The name Bren was derived from Brno, the Czechoslovak city where the Zb vz. 26 was originally designed (in Zbrojovka Brno Factory), and Enfield, site of the British Royal Small Arms Factory.
I love this weapon. It was called the machine gunners dream by a few I know. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it is a very right handed weapon.
